NOVUS

NOVUS was founded in 1982 and is the largest solely Brazilian manufacturer of single loop controllers and data acquisition instrumentation with a staff of 120 highly skilled technicians and engineers.

With headquarters in southern Brazil and commercial branch offices in São Paulo, Campinas, Curitiba, Buenos Aires, Bogota, Doral, FL (USA) and Hong Kong and a network of 34 independent reps in Brazil and distributors in 56 countries. NOVUS holds a portfolio with more than 14 thousand active customers not only in Brazil but in all continents.

NOVUS won The Industrial Distinction award in 1994, which is granted yearly to three outstanding companies chosen over 5,000 afiliated industries. In previous years, companies like Carrier, John Deere, Dana Corporation were awarded, just to mention a few U.S.  NOVUS was granted this award due to the development and launching of N2000, a trully universal microprocessor based controller which was the first one in the world to have both input and output universal, accepting any sensor and driving any industrial actuator, all selected by software through the and all in the basic standard version.

In 1995 NOVUS was granted the Enterpreneur Talent Award for daring and innovating in management and marketing. This award was granted by three sponsors: SEBRAE, a Federal Government industrial promoter, Gerdau S.A., a quality obsessed and the largest steel group in Brazil with 12 steel mills in South America and in Canada, and Zero Hora, the third largest newspaper in Brazil.

Currently NOVUS is developing groundbreaking data acquisition and data logger products, besides controllers, temperature, humidity and pressure transmitters and many other instruments for industry.
