Accuform, FLD248, Radar Violator Alert Speed Display with Post Mount Unit
Display the speed of oncoming traffic. Radar Speed Displays alert drivers of their speeds along roadways or aisleways in and around your facility. The active display of the speed provides visual awareness to help calm and maintain certain traffic speeds to help reduce the chances of accidents.
The display Sign incorporates an accurate radar unit. Bright 12" high, full-matrix LED characters - protected by non-glare polycarbonate face - can be easily seen and is legible up to 750 feet away. The 12” character is appropriate for slower speeds (35 MPH posted and lower). Optional kph operation available. Violator Alert options, including “SLOW” message and flashing bars, can be activated when speeds exceed operator select established set-point. When the speed drops below the established set-point, the speed will display again.
Post Mount unit is designed for permanent or semi-permanent installation on a post and is suitable for outdoor use. The 24"W x 26"H x 8"D aluminum case is white powder coated with stainless steel hardware. Incorporates a MUTCD compliant "YOUR SPEED" Sign. Requires direct hard wire connection and operates on electrical service, 100 - 240 VAC. A universal pole mount bracket is included.
When the speed drops below the established set-point, the speed will display again.
